We have 25 years experience in Motorsport as financiers, of both teams and associated assets.

We have held active management, marketing and sponsorship roles in a wide variety of formulae.

In the early days GD Capital arranged finance for several Cosworth DFV Engines migrating from Formula One to the new Formula 3000 championship with Mike Earle’s Onyx Team. With a healthy appetite for the sport we moved on with Onyx into Formula One assets including Race Transporters and Pit Equipment.

Since then we have been involved in various projects in F1, F3000, World Sports Car Series, Group C Sports Cars, Formula Vauxhall Lotus, British Touring Car Championship, European Le Mans Series, American Le Mans Series, A1 GP, Formula Le Mans & British GT

Most recently GD Capital was involved in the management of 2008 British GT Championship winning Team Trimite with Brookspeed International Motorsport.

Through our involvement with the investment group which acquired Trimite we secured a multi-year sponsorship program aimed at winning the championship, and we delivered in the second year of competition.

At heart we are motorsport enthusiasts, and conduct all our business activities in this area with a deep passion.
